Suppressors TBAC Customer Service - above and beyond?

Some of you may have read my recent thread I posted about my SOT losing my Thunderbeast can. Long story short, I ordered the can, TBAC shipped the can, and sent me an email when delivery was confirmed. When I go to my dealer to get my F4 started, they can't find it. I post here about what's happening, to get a little guidance.
Both Zak and Ray from TBAC noticed my thread here and sent me unsolicited emails and PMs offering to help in any way they possibly could, even though I never contacted them about the issue. My problem really had nothing to do with them, other than they made the can and got it to my dealer, but they went out of their way to try and help me out, without me even asking. To me, that is an amazing level of customer care. Luckily, my dealer wound up finding the can eventually, and I won't need to take them up on their offer of help, but I was floored by their kind offer. Call me a TBAC fanboy if you want (whatever), but those guys are 100% GTG in my book. I've never experienced CS like that from anywhere, and thought they should be publicly commended. Thanks, guys. No question, I am a TBAC customer for life.
 
Yeah Thunder Beast is awesome to work with, in fact I can't recall a time where they or their product has not exceeded all expectations!

i had a question about a different thread pitch brake for my 30BA, specifically if peel washers were included. i called and left a message probably around their lunch time. Ray called me back within a few hours, just to answer my dumb question. Nice guy, very helpful..... their can quality, coupled with the quality of the people who work there make me more and more proud to own a TBAC every day.

Now if I can talk myself out of Form 1ing a 22LR can, ill buy one of theirs...:cool:

Ill help you. There is nothing I have heard on the market that sounds as good as their 22L1, so, no offense, but I doubt you can form 1 anything to compete with it either haha. The thing almost feels fake its so light, and like I said, is quieter than everything out there. Not to mention magnum rating, they dont rate it per se, but Ive fired a Five Seven through one after consulting with Zak.

i dont doubt anything you say about their 22 can. But i am an engineer and i like building things, i have ideas in my head and only way to get them ideas out is to manufacture something. something like a gel jacket around the baffle stack... ;) i am sure it wont be as good as a TBAC but half the fun is the gettin' there.
 
I've heard good things about Thunderbeast before, so glad to hear more confirmation. I'm on the waiting list for a 30P-1, so between the wait for the can and then the stamp it's gonna be agonizing. Thumbs up to TBeast!
 
I was so impressed with my 30P-1, which was my first suppressor, I decided to order 2 more of their cans in other calibers. I had some questions and wanted to request no taper on a 22L-1 to match the profile of a Pac-Lite barrel. Not only did they get back to me quickly to answer my questions, my request on the taper was no problem at all. Fantastic product and service from these guys.

I disagree. I have been doing business with my SOT dealer for more than ten years, and they have always treated me right. They made a mistake, it happens to everyone. I didn't flip out on them; I gave them a chance to get it figured out, and they did. No good reason to torch that relationship. If it is (or becomes) a common problem there, I will make the necessary adjustments. On the other hand, the response from TBAC was way above my expectations.

Although I agree with everything else you said... That mistake isn't like they forgot to file some paperwork or ordered the wrong can. They lost an NFA item. In many cases that's more than enough to get a license pulled. But you're right and if you've had a long standing good relationship with them and it was an honest mistake then there's no reason to burn a bridge. I just like burning shit I guess... :p
 
Good story. still waiting on my can but I have contacted them on several occasions post buying their can and they have been very prompt and courteous to my questions. Nothing but great things from these guys.
 
I just ordered one from them a few weeks ago. I have nothing but praise for their customer service and willingness to answer all my questions. Their gear is expensive, but you get what you pay for. Great team at TBAC!

Yeah good points. You can not be disorganized when it comes to NFA stuff, the ATF has no sense of humor.
 
I'll say two things about the guys at TBAC: #1 they make a sweet can, #2 I initially complained about the brake and they were straight up with me about things, even offered to buy back the can if I wasn't happy. They were really helpful, but didn't sugar coat things to create an illusion. I have to respect that and now have 2 of their cans and advocate their product.
