Rifle Scopes help with scope selection for 6.5 creedmoor

Up to 1000 yards. Be careful on your selection, based on TOTAL elevation. Many bench scopes don't have enough. By this I mean, if you put on a 20MOA base, at elevation -0-, you'll be close to 500-600 yard zero, if you want to shoot from 100-1000, you'll need not only "ups" but "downs"! I'm sure you'll be shooting some of the "heavier" bullets (I'm big on the 142SMK) check you dope charts, then use that info to help you pick a scope and base that'll allow you to really enjoy the round.
I put a Sightron SIII 6-24x on my Creedmoor and love it. If you're only shooting to 1000 yards the 8-32 model gives you a lot more magnification for those distant targets.
I've also got a 6.5 creedmoor and put the Sightron III 6x24x50 moa on it. Plenty of adjustment ~ 100 min elevation and added seekins rings & 20 moa base. Liberty Optics has the scope for $869.
I have that scope. I shoot 308. I love it. Anything that scope can do on my rifle, can also do on yours
I'm putting a PST 6-24x 50mm FFP on my 6.5CM. But, if you have a $1800 budget....I'd go Nightforce.
I have a Vortex HS mounted on a Kimber 82. I like the scope a great deal,but the the reticle is so fine it can be difficult to see in low light condition. I want to try the PST, but I always worry when something with the "same" features as another product but costs half as much. I can tell you if the HS had an illuminated reticle it would be pretty awesome. The Vortex should give you enough elevation for 1000 yards if mounted on 20 moa and you use the BDC reticle,
I also have an NF NXS. This scope will break your heart though because it might ruin you for all other scopes and they cost so much!

I have a Vortex Razor HD 5-20x50 with a 20moa base on my custom 6.5 creedmoor and it has enough travel to dial up to where the round goes transonic at around 1600~ yards.
I also have an SWFA 5-20x50 HD mounted in a 20moa canted aadmount on my 6.5 creedmoor ar-10 and love that scope as well. For the money I would definitely say go with the razor their warranty is rock solid their glass is nice and you get a lot of features in the scope including zero-stop illuminated reticle (which can be nice shooting on larger black targets especially in less then ideal light). The SWFA would save you some money but the Vortex razor is well worth the money.

Why not? When does SFP beat FFP? (serious question as I thought FFP was typically ideal, particularly in vari-powered scopes).
