100 yards, Watch the bullet

What kind of camera were you using, it focused remarkably quickly as it zoomed, especially against the white background. That is some good tech.

I really like watching the bullet especially in my 22 at longer ranges- 2 and 300 yard steel. Its weird for the longest time, I couldn't spot any bullets in air (with 22 thru rifle scope or large caliber as a spotter) than one day it just clicked and ever since its easy to watch bullets (or vapor trail in the larger calibers). I guess the saying is true- once you see it, you see it.

That was very cool to watch thank you
It's interesting to watch the pronounced arc of the .22 lr even at 100

The really weird thing is that the amount of flight time is so long when firing .22 at extended distances that when you have a flier you can actually ascertain that it is errant well before it reaches the target and you feel a bit like a golfer trying to will it back on course. I haven't had any luck willing my errant shots, golf or rifle, back on course yet but for some reason you still get the feeling, for just a moment, that you can.

When I shoot silhouette, if I am really on my game I can watch my own shots through the scope. But on the bench with my 40x, I can watch every single bullet through the scope

Fun stuff!
Gusts were 2-22mph yesterday
It's fun holding all that windage and watching those suckers hook shot on home:D
Cool camera, Thanks for sharing

Always fun to watch stuff like this, even more fun to watch it through your own scope. Great stuff!

That was great to watch! It is so cool to see the flight path, it looks like you are just lobbing them out there!

Putting a bullet downrange and seeing the effect is neat, but seeing the flight of the bullet is even better! Cool videos you guys.

with standard velocity ammo, you are looking at about 9.5 MOA from 50 yards to 100, then to 200 is some 24moa

This is interesting. Might give the ol premier a try on the 10/22 and see if I can get the same results. Almost very time I shoot a 22 it is just with a red dot or 2-6 power scope from Wally World.

Subsonics it will be then, if i can find them. have you tired shorts? I know I have seen a 22 short before but can't remember conditions or distance. just that it hit and killed a small pigeon and i thought i saw the bullet just before impact.
