Nightforce base... rugged enough for a long action magnum?

Up until this point, I have always had Ken Farrell bases and they are very beefy especially in the area between the screw head and the contact point of the bottom of the base. The Nightforce, however, has a very little amount of steel between the screw head and the bottom contact area. I am assuming this is adequate based on the huge following that Nightforce products have but I just want to hear testimonials that support that. This base will be going on a 7mm mag. BTW, this is a 20 moa base with standard size screws. Will it be rugged enough supporting tactical style rings and a Mark 4 6.5-20X50?

I have a NF 25moa base (its old) that has held up well beneath a NF BR 8-32x56 and S&B 5-25x56. The only issue I had was after initial installation and proper torquing the base worked itself loose after a few hundred rounds. I reinstalled it with a bit of loctite on the screws and have had zero issues since.

Use a bit of loctite and use with confidence, they're great.

You could use the NF scope and rings as a carry handle if you wanted to kinda of rugged. I was not a believer until I bought NF products. I wont part with my NF scope for love nor money
