So my long awaited SOE battle belt arrived and this thing is built like a tank. The problem I am having is figuring out how the heck to attach a holster to it. Im running a Raven holster for my Glock 19 and a Bravo Concealment for my G21. The battle belt can open up on the underneath side for attaching a drop leg holster but I dont like running drop legs. I want to try and run a standard kydex holster which is what I see most guys running so I know it can be done. Anyone that has done this or knows how to do it that can explain it would be helpful. Thanks in advance

MOLLE attachment strips available from USA knifemaker might help you and give a pretty snug fit. Never tried them but recently looking at options and for the price it is at least worth trying. Unless someone pipes up that has tried them and say they suck.

I attached a duty holster in that opening to the actual belt, its not really a drop leg, but it keeps the backstrap of the gun just about parallel with the top of my battle belt. I know its not one of the holsters you mentioned you have, but maybe a future alternative? I like the fact there is more retention as opposed to just the kydex but thats just me.

yeah im not really looking for retention as this is going on a game setup. I was thinking the malice clips also, but how did you attach them. What I mean is the malice clips run north/south (up and down), but so do the attachments on the holster. So I dont see how you get that in. Also, I was hoping there was a way to do it and have the holster attach to the belt itself for more rigidity. Maybe I am just trying to do something that cant be done. Thanks for the help guys

I think the problem with that holster (i dont have any use with it, just what i see online) is that the clips are studded into the kydex (is that correct?). If that is so, I dont know how you would attach it to a molle belt. i guess maybe you could get this little doodad for your holster (OWB Eclipse Modular Accessories). That might allow you to mount it.

The BEST option in mounting multiple weapons/holsters to molle is going G-Code. They have the "RTI 3 row molle claw" (Edge Works RTI 3 Row MOLLE CLAW / Fits: All G-Code Kydex Holsters) that you can mount to your molle setup then quick-disconnect holster A and replace with holster B.

Aside from modifying your current holster, i dont know...definitely keep us in the loop on what you find though!

If this model of Raven holster has the rivetted holes on the outside of the holster, couldn't some 550 tie down work well? Just thinking outside the box but that could really be great way to improvise, just a thought.

I have been running a HSGI battle belt for about a month and love it. Very comfortable and clears my swat vest without needing the ramp adapters. No regrets.
