I'm getting into reloading, and I'm missing one final item. Powder. I have all the equipment, brass, primers, bullets, and all I need is powder. Is there an online source that anyone knows of that may have some? Houston folks, is there somewhere in the city I can find some?

***Note: This is not an attempt to circumvent post count requirements. This is not a WTB thread. Please just point me in the right direction.***

Powder valley, butchs reloading, natchez, midsouth, 3rd gen, midway, brownells etc

people are looking all over, you gotta check atleast once a day online to get powder or set up notify by email cause it hit or miss. be prepared to pay 27.50 or so for hazmat shipping too. 8# seems to be about the limit lately.

Thanks. Cabela's has Hodgdon and a few others right now. I got some BLC-2. I just saw the "Hide and Seek" thread in on of the for sale boards. Is that a more appropriate place to post about this?

+1 on the 'Hide and Seek' thread as well as this site in general. I try to look at my list of sites a couple of times a day to see whats out there. I just book mark the pages and go down the list.

It also helps to come up with a list of different powders that would work for you if your not stuck on one so you have a greater chance of finding something. I have also noticed that when I went to buy some Titegroup the larger cannisters were not avail but the 1 pounders were, they were not much different in price and I bought 10 of them.

If you are getting into reloading many of the big sites have reloading info for the powders they sell avail at no charge when you order so, if its an option, grab it.

Lastly, if you find something it would be helpful to all here if you would post it.

Armslist.com is a listing site, nation wide for individual states, check there and do Search for powder you're looking for. Shipping will be a problem. xray9

Thanks for the lead on the Hodgdon. I was running low on one of them.
