Gentlemen, I recently purchased an AAC .300 blackout that I want to suppress. I would like to run the same can on my bolt gun,6.5x47. The blackout has the aac 51 tooth flash hider. What options do I have to mount the can on my bolt gun with minimal poi shift? Are any of you running a similar setup?

The specwar 7.62 is a great option. Handles magnum rounds too if you decide on a bigger build in the future. Better mount than the AAC 51t mount. Google it. Should be at dealers soon.

I would call which ever manufacturer you go with, just to make sure the pressures from the can dont damage your blackout during cycling. Call Dale at Elite Iron and he can help you out.

Buy a TBAC 30BA and an extra brake. Or if both rifles are threaded 5/8x24, buy a 30P-1. I went the 30BA route and couldn't be happier. I don't even know what the shift is since I haven't shot either rifle unsupressed since I got the can.

I am really curious about this specwar... it really looks like a nice system too...

I have an AAC SDN6 that I mount on multiple rifles and can shoot less than 1/2 moa with my GAP .308 at a hundred with. There are a few headaches with an AAC SDN6.... one of'em being I had to polish up the adapter to have the can and adapter mate on tight. After shooting a bunch of rounds out the same rifle with the SDN6 on... the carbon build up on the adapter makes it difficult to twist the can off, and is a b*tch to clean.

I think anything with a quick release/detach adapter is a b*tch to clean overall...

I picked the SDN6 for the full-auto rated, Magnum rated (to a certain barrel length), and cause of the QD adapter I can mount to multiple host. I also picked out the Brakeout adapter for my rifles .. hearing that the muzzle brake helps with the longevity of the suppressor's baffles... just something you might want to keep in mind if you go with the QD route, but keep in mind.. they're a b*tch to clean :)

Good info guys, I appreciate it. I wanted to run with an AAC product simply for the compatiblity with the 51t flash hider.
Very interested in the TBAC.

What he said. I have a 30P-1 that I use on 308, 264LBC, and my 300 whisper. Works great!

I am running the SAS Arbiter with QD mount on my GAP-10 in .308 and my Noveske SBR in 300BLK. One can and multiple rifles, just buy another brake. I am noticing the carbon buildup on the GAP-10 brake and am getting ready to attack it.

The Spec Wars are good cans, correct about the better mounting system.

Before I bought my TBAC 30-P1, I asked if it would work on both a .308 and a 6.5-.284, and was told it would work fine. I'll post more information when the Form 4 is approved.

My stamp just cleared on the Noveske 300 blk and with the TBAC 30p-1 from my 308 has been a blast. I opted for direct thread and couldn't be happier. Bought a TROS adaptor 1/2x28 to 5/8x24 and run the can a my 26" Noveske 223 as well.

as to your title...technically speaking...your can gets approval for a specific firearm and is not supposed to be put on another firearm. Just a heads up.

The tax stamp applies to the can and its serial number and has nothing to do with what gun its used on

Maybe I am not understanding you but are you saying that a suppressor is approved for use on only one firearm? If so then you need to do a little more research...

Mmmmm...not quite. You can use the can on any weapon you choose.

I see you are from Louisiana, are you the class 3 guy at red jacket?

Next your going to tell us our SBR lowers can have only one caliber and one barell as specified
