So I've got a female friend that I've been teaching to shoot. I bought her a M&P .22 that she LOVES to shoot, but she wants to move up to a 9mm. My issue starts because she saw this:

on Pintarest and now wants a Tiffany Blue gun.

I have no issue with pink or green or camo or black or just about any other color gun in the world EXCEPT BLUE! To me, BLUE means "safe" "inert" "for training" Now it IS admittedly a different, considerably lighter shade of blue than traditional "safety blue", and only the frame is painted, not the slide...but I'm still kinda iffy about it.
What do you guys think?

Harmless personalization or dangerous miscommunication?

Is that pic for real?

Well....Perhaps miscommunication can have its advantages, provided she doesn't carry it as a duty gun.

Any LE would treat it as a real gun until proven otherwise.

I say go for it. If it keeps her shooting that is the most important thing. Tiffany blue is quite diffrent from BLUE guns or non-guns.

I say go for it if a Tiffany Blue gun is the only thing you have to buy that comes in that box I'd say your still in the positive!

That is **clearly** not an inert "blue gun".

No problem. Personally, I like that better than the pink guns.
