Hey folks,
Just thought I'd tap the collective mindset here & see what you think about the Snugpak line of gear. I'm considering a number of their products to add to my company's offerings, but don't know a whole bunch about the brand's reputation. Do they have a good quality & value product? Are there any items that stand out as good or bad? Or should I consider a similiar but different name out there?
Thanks in advance for the help!

SnugPak is a great firm, they have a HUGE following with folk in the UK military, as well as UK police forces, cadets, etc.

Never seen a piece of Snugpak kit that I'd not have been proud to own & use.

Their military line is top notch especially the jackets, trousers and multi-season sleeping systems.

They have a huge following in the Irish army with nearly every soldier who works outside an office owning one.I own a sleeka and a sasquatch jacket and a sleeping bag too..Never had a prob with stitching ect. They pack down to nothing also.I think they are a great purchase. If you plan to carry them stock their hat too,(elmer fudd style)its toasty. And I need one in multicam too !!

What are their terms?

Supply chain?

Warranty?

Will they help with getting their name and product into the hands of your customers?

I have very little hard data on them. At one time they contacted wanting their product brought in but with Patagonia, Mountain Hardwear, Dead Bird, Mammut terms and brand name, hard to pick up. Patagonia is just fabulous with terms as is Outdoor Research and their name is growing. Patagonia had sales training, product merchandising and advertising bucks basically all free with good standing. TNF has changed to the more better but their name is still tainted somewhat.

But if your business model is geared towards military, I understand you need and want a recognizable military product and name. With military contracts at a premium now, good luck. We were lucky as back then military had to buy local and I retired so I had contacts so we cleaned up but that is not the case these days.

Good luck, not my help but thought I would try to add

I have several pireces of their equipment from packs to light weight sleeping bags and bag liners.

All good stuff. I even have both my BOBs/walking home bags supplied with this stuff.

There is a limited number of suppliers in the USA. I've had great service from the one I've used, however it never hurts to have options.

Good luck.

heres a few pics of my snugpak sasquatch I recently bought. Really warm and light,I got this to replace my snugpak sleeka for the colder weather.Iv only used it a couple of times on the ground so far but just like my sleeka the quality is top notch and its built to last.It will be in my backpack everytime I go .It also packs down fairly small, here it is in a drybag along side my boot for size reference
