This insightful course explores the practical, moral and philosophical aspects of firearms ownership and personal protection. It is geared specifically for women who are interested in either exploring handgun ownership or have acquired a handgun and want more information and training so that they handle it with skill and confidence and make informed choices for the future.

On the practical side, our expert trainers provide really fun training in a relaxed atmosphere to develop the confidence and foundational skills necessary to safely handle, safety check, load, unload and fire common types of handguns as well as knowledge of other important topics relating to selection, ownership, and safely keeping a handgun in the home or while traveling.

A special emphasis on women's self defense, tactics, strategies and mindset is an integral part of this training. Through role playing, conversation, rehearsal and training drills, we help you develop your confidence and skill to handle potentially lethal encounters both in and out of the home.

Defensive Shooting Fundamentals:
This isn't target shooting -- It happens a lot faster than what you might imagine. Mindset, Tactics and Defensive Shooting Skills must be developed in harmony. This course will serve as a foundation of training that goes well beyond what you get in a typical CCW or Basic Handgun Program so that you are armed with better information and skills to defend yourself from harm in real world situations, not just shooting at the range.

Procedures for cleaning and maintenance to keep it running!

We are working hard to provide real solutions for our students to the ammo shortages around the country. Through our strategic network, we have been able to find ammunition as well as components to load and are in the process of putting together ammunition packages at reasonable cost.

At this time we can provide the following for STUDENTS REGISTERED FOR COURSES ONLY.

9mm – jacketed

.357 SIG – Jacketed – Gold Dot Ammo

.40 cal – jacketed

.45 ACP – Jacketed or lead

.223 As available

You will need to register for the course, state your ammunition requirements and pay for it in advance in order to qualify for this pricing. Even if the class is cancelled, we will deliver your ammunition.

Here is a list of requirements for the class:

Eye and ear protection

Clothing to suit the weather.
.38 Special, 9mm, .40 or .45 caliber handgun.
Holster or gun case.

In order to sign up all we need is 20% down to hold your spot. This 20% is nonrefundable unless the class is canceled for something out of your control. The remaining 80% is due 14 days prior to the class and you will receive an email reminder. Of course you are more than welcome to make payments for the class whenever you would like.

Any of us familiar with the Ft. Bragg area know the places to stay away from such as Bragg Blvd or 'the Murch'. What some don't know is that due to crime concerns, the WalMart on Skibo road is no longer open 24 hours. Or that for the year 2012 the Hope Mills PD received about 31.8 thousand calls for service which resulted in 4549 citations (Forms).

Since the area is full of soldiers who deploy and women who are left at home, this class is here to help women understand the crime in the area and to help them feel more comfortable protecting themselves especially when the man of the house is away.

We also know that while the husband may be a great instructor, it's not always the best idea for the husband to teach his wife how to shoot.

This course is on the cheap side (cost wise) and there is a low ammo count. If I lived in the area, I would be attending along with my friends, but I do believe the other girls at Grey Group will be there.
