I just received my PM2 5-25x56 H58. I have a question though. I am only able to see the illuminated reticle (red) when it's against a dark background/target even at max illumination. Is this correct? Also, only the main crosshair is illuminated. I've seen a bunch of pictures of the H58 in other scopes and it shows the crosshairs and a dot at each mil below the center.

I'm pretty sure everything is correct, but I just want to make sure.

Actually, the illuminated dots are laid out in two mil increments on the 6:00 stadia and the illumination sounds completely normal. All mine are at the same level of brightness you described.

Uh oh. I'd better double check sure.

Are you running the same scope and reticle? I just double checked mine and only the center cross hair is illuminated. There are no illuminated dots on the stadia at all.

There is a very small dot at every two mil and at ten mil there is a single dot left and right of center and there will also be two dots left and right of center at 20 mil. The H37 is the same way.
I have never seen an H58 or H59 without these with the exception of the non-illuminated H58 in the 4-16 PMII.

Thanks Jerry. I tried the scope again in complete darkness and I can see the dots now.
