RL22 or H1000? or try both in .300WM(26" tube)?

Whatever is the preference of you and your gun. Some don't like Re22 but it's been a good match with this bullet for me, 2960fps. The elk over my front entry likely did not share my enthusiasm for the combo.

If I were starting over I would likely work up H1000 too and choose the better option. Next barrel.

What's your data with RL22 and the AB? Presently I'm shooting 180gr SST's over 73.5grs(215's & FC brass)

Shooting 200 grain accubonds and h1000 (really course powder)
You won't get anywhere near max charges.
I don't remember weights , but they get compressed at around 67 grains

Nosler is indicating around 77grs +/- before compression. Ref pp 452 #7 for the 190gr . I'm guessing 75grs give or take for the 200gr with the same OAL.

Thx. With powder scarce I had a chance to buy a 8#H1000. Figured I could use it in the mag with heavy pills.

Mine liked H1000 better or 77 grains. It will be crunchhhhhhh or the case is full!

70.5grs of RL22 gives me targets that are tough to measure at 100 yards.
