I am thinking of building a 6.5x47 lapua soon and was wondering if the can I have for my 308 win (AAC 7.62 SDN-6) would work with this cartridge, I don't see why it wouldn't but just want to make sure.

Yes, it will work fine. You can use smaller calibers through suppressors, just not larger.
Exception to that being if your can is not rated for .300WM but is a 7.62mm can, don't make a habit of running a 6.5WSM or something through it. The bullet won't be a problem but the pressure might.

I use my TBAC 30ba on my 260 Remington with fantastic results
I shoot 6.5 X 47 through my .338 Lapua can and it works fantastic. Much more volume than the smaller .30 cal can so even better suppression. Takes longer to build heat as well so that keeps mirage down.

6.5 Lapua through a 30 cal can is a great combination. No recoil.
I shoot my 6.5 creedmoor through my thunderbeast 30P-1 with no issues.
