xlr butt stock??

I have my chassis on order with the standard butt stock and am thinking of upgrading to the tactical butt stock. What are the pros and cons? I do like the fact that the std. has adjustable cant.

Although the web site does not show it we have added +- 10 degrees of cant ability to the Tactical butt stock.
The biggest difference between the two is the Standard has a flat bottom and the Tactical is enclosed and sloped.

I canted the tactical butt by rotating the butt on the buffer. HUGE difference. Fits me like a glove.

I like the looks of the Tactical better, which isn't a huge factor, but it does count.

There is a new style hinge that kyle has made that is supposed to be light years better than the Ace unit he was using. So i dont believe that will be a problem anymore.

You talking about the old version or new? Agreed on the old one but, by all accounts I have seen, the new one is a solid piece.

The new one is very solid with no slop. It is also adjustable just incase it is loose.

Don't need the hinge but did have Kyle upgrade me to the tactical butt stock since it does have some cant adjustment. I have a bum shoulder and need some adjustment from shooting off the bench to prone.

Trying to decide on a stock for my first rifle. I see a lot of people upgrading to the tactical stock over the standard, what are the benefits?
