Im looking to get a new stock (manners T4A) and I want to have it inletted for bottom metal. What are my options, who makes bottom metal for the savage short action?

+1. The CDI works just fine and Manner's already has that one on file.

I believe CDi does make one specifically for the bottom bolt release. Give them a call and see.

They have a kind of half ass fix for the trigger guard bolt release. You have to jb weld a little lever on to the release that protrudes up were they use to. It works, just wish they would come up with something better.

That is a really nice DBM! Wish that would've been out when I built my Savage. Any idea how close the inlet is compared to a CDI?

No idea. I believe the Remington Stealth are dimensioned the same as Badger Ordnance, if that helps any. The PTG Stealth are also about $100 cheaper than CDI.

Anybody heard when this will be available? I called today and the salesperson told me to look on their website for a release date?! Im starting to wonder if these will ever be out.

I talked with them today: the Savage L/A is being prototyped as we speak, with the S/A soon to follow. It shouldn't be much longer now.
