I think that a 2 year AF vet will not qualify for burial at arlington. Unless I am mistaken, simply being a vet does not qualify for burial at arlington. I thought the vet has to have done something extraordinary to qualify for Arlington.

There is a list of qualifications now. Simply serving 2 years isnt even in the ball park.

In essence, you have to be special to qualify. hinga like pueple heart, navy cross, silver star are among the qualifications.

Anyone who served honorably has my gratitude and respect, regardless of whether they qualify for burial at Arlington. My father is buried at Arlington National Cemetery, as is one Uncle, my mother will be buried with my father, IAW the rules and regulations, when the time comes. I recall when one of the Clinton people, who claimed to be a "war hero" was buried in Arlington, but it turned out he never served and was just a typical Washington D.C. lying piece of shit, the outcry was so loud (I was one of the million or more screaming), he was exhumed, and moved. She most likely does not qualify for a grave, therefore the offer of "her" plot, is ridiculous! The fool may as well be offering her all flight pass on Air Force One, she doesn't have that either. To even be reporting on such stupidity, is just one more example (of the 10,000s) of how poor a job the press does. Not one of their super smart reporters even asked if she actually had one to give! And as far as I know, they are not something one can "give" period, they can only be earned, or in the case of a spouse, to be laid with the one that earned their spot.
