Rifle Scopes Anybody ever use Longrangesupply?

I've decided on a Sightron SIII 8-32x56, and these guys have it at a good price. However, they do not do refunds or exchamges, and there is no phone number to reach them. A little sketch.... Anybody familiar with them? I'm going to call Sightron to see if they're an authorized dealer.

I did, but it wouldn't give me a phone number at first. I had to send an email, then it gave me a phone number. I just got off the phone with them and everything seemed good to go, so I went ahead and gave them the order. They sold the scope for $150 less than I have seen it anywhere else.

While I would generally suggest that you get with any number of Hide vendors who sell Sightron, you won't have any troubles with Don at LRS.

I first got to know Don MANY years ago when I was getting into the .50BMG /match shooting and the ELR game as a whole. He shared a great deal of knowledge with me, as well as helped me out in getting what would be my first (of many) Nightforce scopes. He's just a good guy all around to work with and he'll treat you right.

As for the "phone number" issue...I don't know where the hell you were looking, but Don's phone is listed clear as day on his site at the following link: Contact Us : Long Range Supply, Optics and gear for long range shooting

Please see my 2nd post about the phone number. It was probably my browser taking met straight to the email, as I couldn't see any other contact info until after I had sent the email. I got his number, and I talked to him and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. He got me squared away, and I just mailed the money order. I was nervous because his prices on the SIII beat everybody else by a LONG SHOT, I couldn't find a phone number(see post above), and he doesn't take refunds or exchanges. It's a lot of money for me and I wanted to make sure I was dealing with someone on the level. I knew I didn't want to pay 5% of the scope's price for using my credit card, so I was going to have to send a check or money order. It just made me nervous... However, it only took a phone call to ease my mind.

The notice regarding Sightron boxes says you cannot return it solely for the reason that it arrives with a damaged box.
It does not say the product cannot be returned if there is a problem with the scope.

Thanks to everyone for the info! Like I said, I gave Don the order after speaking with him on the phone. If anyone is looking for an SIII, he has the 8-32x56 LRMOA2 for $789. That's a solid $160 cheaper than OpticsPlanet, or anyone else that I saw! I really enjoy belonging to a community that will look out for each other, the way we shooters do.
BTW, Don explained to me that he doesn't take exchanges or refunds (unless something major is messed up) because he's a one man show, and the factory will take care of any issues for you. He may not have all this stuff in inventory, but is instead more of a middle man. Either way, his prices on the Sightron were well below the competition.

I've read the policies on the site and I disagree with your interpretation.

Regardless, you've got a nice optic on the way.
Sightron does not get the recognition it merits; the glass in the SIII series is excellent and from what I read their CS is, too.
The 3.5-10x44 I own has really nice crisp turrets and an absurd amount of erector travel, 40 mils elevation and windage, several times what I could ever use in a 10x scope.
I wish they offered more than just a mildot reticle; with something similar to a G2DMR or EBR-2B they would be on more of my rifles.

I have read nothing but good things about their products, but I've never owned one. I am back in school at the ripe age of 31, and simply cannot afford NF, Schmidt & Bender etc. I figured the SIII would be the best bang for my buck. I'm not familiar with the two reticles you mentioned above, but the MOA 2 reticle seems pretty nice. The center dot is .18 moa at 32x and around .25 at 24x, so it's fine enough for precision work. I've never used a reticle to range before, but the instructions on Sightron's website seemed fairly simple. However, if someone's used to working in mils (I never have) it may be a bit awkward. This will be mostly used for 1,000 yard F-TR, but I'm hoping to try some practical type shooting at some point.
