If anyone has built a rifle on a Mchale stock I would like to see it. Would be nice if anyone could tell me the weight of the Mchale also. Thanks in advance

I've got to tag this. I've always wanted to try McHale, but haven't had the chance yet.

I think the McHale is one of the best stocks out there , mine is a factory Parker Hale M85 rifle & uses PHs action , and their bipod off the front .

Can somebody shoot a pic of the tang area of the stock with a Remington action? The Mcm website says it is optimized for BR actions, I'd like to see exactly how a remmy sits in it. Thanks.

Where can you buy these stocks from l`m after one for my SG69 P1 ..nice looking stock ..

Harris McMillan M86 in .308 (c.1994) with a McHale stock

They're still available on the McMillan website/

Note to all: as the web site indicates the McHale stock is designed for the thick square tang benchrest type actions. Some of these would be the various BAT's, Stolle's, Defiance and Nesika Bay BR type actions and the Badger 2008 type actions. The rear tang area will not fit or blend in with the various Remington type and Winchester type rear tangs and we will not inlet this stock for these actions. The McHale is a fairly large bulky stock and in sporter fill for the short actions the blank will weight about 2.5 lbs and in magnum fill for the long actions and ultra-mag type calibers about 3 lbs.

P.S. The M89's in the photos are not on a McMillan McHale stock, they are on a copy of the McHale made by Harris/McMillan for their version of the M89 rifles.
