The work took over this year. Some things have changed, but origi telescope could not yet saved the lives. This was all changed, orginal only, lock, spring mechanism in the middle part of the rifle. I did not manage to collect all the necessary, of original parts and did not want to give up the project.

Please post or to remove the transfer because it is a hybrid and not vintage rifle.

No worries, Mosin sporters have been posted in this thread before. Nice work, do you have a list of the new parts? Can you post closer pictures?

Thank you. But I personally am not happy with the result. That's why the gun was dismantled and will do so now by. different concept. Want to have Mosina which is consistent with the documentation. Currently have a Steyr SSG-08 with a telescope Zeiss Victory Diavari 690mm caliber so I then train. When it comes to parts Mosina it if you need it I can get.

archangel is coming out with a nice mosin stock. with detachable magazine. my buddy i shoot with refuses to give up on his mosin even after shooting my remmy 700 bull barrel. then gets mad when i am out shooting him. i tell him , man! that is a 60 year old rifle!!! atleast buy something made in this century...

also a uk 59 machine gun barrel fits on a mosin with some work if i recall correctly. so bull barrels are available but they are not cheap. they use to be like 75 bucks ready to install.

I hear you, I was told the same thing and had to learn the hard way. Don't get me wrong if you do get one of those barrels to work with you specific receiver they can be very good shooter, especially for being a chrome lined barrel.

Exactly, with the barrel has always been a problem. As for the film I've seen it, well done. But I did otherwise your Mosina (44), the new paint but I can not add photos to your post in response. Can someone write how to add a pic in response to a post, and do not start a new topic. Thanks in advance. Returning to the film, in my rifle shortened lock. As for the duration of this year I collected parts, documentation, and even so in total it turned out otherwise. That's why I mass parts to Mosina, if someone is looking for something of this can help for free. Flasks, springs, ramrod, locks, etc.

nice sporter! love the cheap and effective 7.62x54r... McGowen makes barrels of the right bore diameter.. Another thing one could try is to just buy a $100 GreenMountain blank they have a few that are .3085" bore.. most surplus Russian is like .3095" so one oculd shoot it in a .308 barrel.
