i got 2 jugs of wc872 powder because i heard it works in the 338 lapua. anybody have data for it with 250 or 300g scenars? im running a rem 700 pss 26". i searched but data for it is scarce

It has a burn rate similar to A-8700. You will find out that velocity will be low as the burn rate is too slow for the Lapua.
Yeah, I run it in my non-match 50BMG ammo but most likely you'll want to stick with H1000, Retumbo, etc for good 338 loads. Street price for new 8lb jugs of WC872 is $46 so you aren't out much if you don't use it. The barrel and brass life on your 338 is worth far more than some cheap, substandard surplus powder.
