Where the Gators swell
Just looking for feedback on either the Timney or Geisele?

Is it worth the stretch in cash vs the factory trigger? and which of the 2 aftermarket triggers is preferred?

Thanks in advance SCAR connoisseurs

My best bud and shooting partner put the geissele in his. ALL the difference in the world! Money is tight for him and he says best money he's spent.

I am biased as I admit to being a geissele fan boy...

I don't have a SCAR...however, the first thing to go on my AR's is the factory trigger. I don't even fire them with the stock trigger (I hate the creep, grittiness, heavy pull weight, etc.) Yes, they're "battle triggers" which are typically 100% reliable - but, I want to enjoy my range time by squeezing a crisp, light, predictable trigger such as a Geissele.

My brother has a timney in his but im not a big fan of it. I think if i bought one i would go with the geissele.

The difference between the factory trigger that came on my Armalite AR15 lower, and the Geissele SSA-E I put in it later, was night and day. It's a chunk of change, but definitely worth it.

I've got a Geissele in my 16S. Night and day difference from the stock trigger. Yes it's pricey, but well worth the cost IMO.

I went with a Bill Springfield trigger job before Geissele or Timney offered a trigger. It made a huge improvement. Not as good as a G or T trigger, but short money ($70 or so) in comparison and FAST turn around (I think he shipped the same day as he received.)

Geissele all the way.
Got one for my heavy and it is worth it.
Fixed the only downside to the SCAR IMO... well maybe an 18 " brl too !

FWIW....pay for quality , you won't regret it

Geissele for a major improvement. DO NOT pay more than $325 whether in stock or not. Geissele has re-stock every Wednesday a few minutes after noon, every week, like clockwork. And you get some free swag with uber fast shipping.
