I have my back order in with Scott at Liberty Optics, for a Viper PST 2.5-10x32. I'm looking very foreword to the next shipment, this will be my first Vortex. I think this'll be perfect for my "SPR".

Anyone else waiting on a new release?

I'm waiting for that exact same scope from that exact same vendor, ordered about a month ago.

My credit card is on fire lately, so unlike you I'm actually hoping it will be a while.

You guys will not be disappointed! Got mine from Scott not that long ago! One hell of a scope.

Vortex is quickly becoming a force to be reckon'd with...I'm up to 3 Vortex scopes and gotta say I'm happy all the way.
I have a PST 2.5-10..and yes the wait is worth it!

Same here. I have the 2.5-10x32 on back order with Scott as well. It's going on my recce, replacing a TR24G. But I have a 6.8 SPR in mind that the PST may find its way to in the future.

I feel half lucky. I have two of them, one on the AR15, the other on the AR308. They're stinking awesome, though I was shooting on Saturday and the 308 one started going out of focus while adjusting from 5x-9.5x. It's in the mail headed back to vortex for repair or replacement. While I'm disappointed this happened, they're on top of their customer service taking care of me. I was so impressed with the PST, I picked up a crossfire for my .22, nice little scope.

Mine will go on a Centurion Arms DMR upper, hopefully it'll fare well.

Yup waiting on the same scope. When it gets here it gets here. Not in a big rush myself.

I have a Vortex PST 6-24 and one of the PST 1-4. I bought into all the hype about Vortex, but I'll have to say I was a little disappointed with the 6-24. It gets a little less clear at higher setting. I also have the Razor 5-20, and that's a bad-ass scope!!! I've compared it to the SWFA SS 5-20 as well as USO 5-25, and I'll take the Razor for the price any day. I'd like to see one of the 2-10's though. Haven't heard anything bad about them.

Have a 1-4x PST that I have used on my AR for a couple of years now. Really like this scope. For a B-day/Father's day gift my son bought me a 6-24x PST, MOA, FFP. Got it a week ago today. Rings should be here Friday. Can't wait to get it mounted and head to the range. Have not used a first focal plane scope before but I think I am really going to like this one.

Just received a 1-6 razor from Scott @ LO...have to say I love it. A little on the heavy side...must be a reason for all that weight though.

Well the wait is over, just ordered up my Viper from a supporting member. As it turns out Scott didn't get enough to cover my back order. These scopes are a hot item and there's no telling when this batch will run out.

Seems like I've read somewhere theyre coming out with more options later this year. Anyone in the know, know if thats true or not? Sure wish they'd get rid of all the useless BDC reticles they corrupt perfectly good scopes with.

Sigh...I didn't make it on this round of back orders with Liberty, either. Scott says 6-8 weeks for next batch of 2.5-10x32 FFP Mrad. Hopefully I'm higher up on that list.

Oh well, that's just more time to save for more toys.

I love the bdc reticles for hunting all my vortex scopes have them.
I also dont "feel" they lack for rangeing or size determination either.

I saw the 2.5-10x32 PST at SHOT, and it is impressive. Then a guy showed up to one of our DM Courses with one mounted on his 16" .308 LMT MRP so I could see it outdoors, and the glass was very clear.

I love my little 2.5-10x44 MRAD PST. It seems at home on my 16" Grendel:

I think I am up to five Vortex scopes and a Vortex spotting scope. I am very impressed with the value of Vortex optics.
All of mine came from Rangerwalker71 at Colonial Armory.

I'm now anxiously awaiting another 5-20 Razor that was purchased used from a fellow snipershide member. In my opinion, got a great deal on it, and I can actually use it now. The Razor is shaping up to be my go to scope for long range shooting. Unfortunately, too heavy for hunting.

I may be alone in this opinion but I think Vortex glass is crap compared to NF, Trijocon and Leupold (the only other ones I own). I needed a compact 2.5-10 for a lightweight hunting rifle and bought the PST 2.5-10. What a disappointment. The light gathering ability of the glass is makes it seem like you are in low-light conditions when you are not. The lighted reticle only works occasionally. I wish I would have saved for the NF 2.5-10. IMHO.

You must be talking about the 2.5-10x44 as that's a different scope than the 2.5-10x32 which is nothing like you describe.

I'm really disappointed I got the 2.5-10x32 FFP.

Because now I look through the 6-24x50 I have from Vortex and it doesn't look as good as it used to. :( The 2.5-10x32 is a lot clearer. What, do I have to buy a 5-25 S&B or something to be happy with a long range optic now?

My Department just ordered me a Razor for my department rifle. Took about a week or two to order and get it. Sitting on the table at the house. When I finish getting the stock painted Ill put it back together and mount it.

I thought so. I have heard from many sources that the 2.5-10x44 was not as good as the other PSTs but the 2.5-10x32 is a whole new animal. It's bright and clear.

I have been using the 2.5-12x32 for a couple of months and really love this scope. It is really bright and clear for the price point. The weight makes the scope very attractive and keeps me coming back. The wait was well worth it.

The wait is over! My Vortex arrived 4 days early! And it was $80 less than I thought it'd be! Thank You Camera Land! It's had to be one of the best mail order experiences in quite some time, and it's been long time.

Props to Vortex as well! The scope's packaging and included accessories, etc are some of the better I've received.

Here's a gratuitous pic,

Vortex scopes are a little hard to get right now. I had to wait about two months for my dealer to get my Razor hd 5 - 20 x 50. I am still waiting on a Chandler Sniper X-M3 with a 24 inch barrel to be finished. It will be the host for the Vortex. I was told mid to end of June, it has been a long wait!!! The waiting is killing me.
