That powder is just going to be a bit too slow to serve you very well.

Hodgdon doesn't even recommend it for the Creedmoor...

Not saying it won't work... it's just that it won't get the potential out of the cartridge.

Thanks Dan, thought since someone mentioned it and I have just enough left to load 10 or so shells......

That's an interesting take, Dan...

I've not played with 6.5 creed, but I have with 260, and I think we can agree they're basically the same. I've found H4350 to be just a little too fast (max load is only ~90-95% load density @ 2.850-2.875". Meanwhile h4831sc is just a little slow, where I'm case capacity limited. I've found velocity of max loads to pretty much be the same either way.

My point: necking either of these cases down from 6.5-->6mm will make the slower powder more applicable, don't you think?

H4831sc works nice in 243, I can't think of any reason it wouldn't in a 6creed, which is damn similar.

Hell, if tip top velocity isn't the goal, I'd take h1000 for a spin around the block.

im on process of doing my first load test on 4831sc for 6sc one of our brother here said it works good on 108 or 115gr for 6mm creed.0.040 to 0.060so basicaly ill have to say it will, on havier 6mm otherwise h4350 for you 105 or less grain heads

With H4831SC in a 6mm Creedmoor size case; the load is going to be very close to "Fill up to the bottom of case neck and seat the bullet". Truly doubt you can get enough H4831SC in the case to exceed pressure ceiling.
