Best Powders For .300 Win Mag?

I have been using H1000 for my .300 win mag but wondering what other powders work well for this caliber. I am mostly using 208 grain AMAX bullets but also interested in trying Bergert 230 OTM bullets as well. I also have some 180 grain Accubonds that I plan on using down the road on Alberta Whitetail. I have only been reloading for 6 mos so H1000 is the only powder I have ever tried. Thanks!

Don't switch. Stay with H1000 with the 230's or any heavy bullet.

H1000 is my favorite powder for the 300. If your switching because you have no more, that is a different story, but stick with H1000 for now.

For 200 grain and heavier bullets I like Retumbo. Assuming a long barrel, you can benefit from the slow burn, and I like the consistent burn I get with compressed loads.

Thanks! I have 13 lbs right now and access to more. Powder has been in stock at a nearby gun store recently and was wondering if I should experiment with anything else. I guess I will continue to buy as much as I can.
