How to edit the title of a thread?

So after creating a thread, I go back to edit the title, and it shows as edtited on the thread but when looking at the thread in the forum listing it still show's the original title. Is it no longer possible to edit the title of one's thread?

Ah ha! it would seem that only threads in the PX are subject to this? a cunning plan to avoid ................ some kind of mischief in the sale? maybe?

I think you edit that in the advanced tab ...

I tried it in the advanced tab as well, it changes the title on the actual thread page, but on the forum header its still says the original title, unedited.

I've been trying to do this since the move and have not had any luck editing the title.

It's very frustrating as I want to edit them to reflect price change's or other details to let others know at a glance instead of hoping that they will look at my listing again later on.
