so far i can say nothing bad about swaro. went to swaro with our old spotting scope, the 30x75 (30y old). they made a full service, cleaned the inside, checked everything and then called me one week later that i can pick it up again. entire service cost like 30 euro.
bought a used, about 20 year old 6x42 habicht rifle scope for the first rifle of my brother. again, drove there, asked for a full service. they called me 3 days later explaining that they would have to repair/swap out the elevation mechanics as there was something wrong there. gave them the okay. one week later i picked the scope up again and they only charged like 50 euro.
never did they ask about the age of the scope or whether i was the "first buyer". they took their swaros in, serviced them and fixed them almost for free. and here i'm talking about units that have been in use for more than 20 years.
but i would also like to point out that i basically live like next to the rifle scope/bino/spotter production site of swaro.
