Fellas it won't be long and I'm pulling the trigger on a pvs-22 (or simular) and I have no idea what mount to get. I have zero experience with these and I don't want to buy something junky.
I'd like to do it my self if its not too complicated but ill take to to a GS if needed. Which one do I need? I'd like to have one that has the rail on top and both sides because ill want to mount a DBAL-D2 beside it.

    Thanks!

What barrel contour are you having to accomodate?

Most of the stock mounted front NV mounts have a limited through hole around 1.2" dia. Probably want a barrel contour that will be around 1.1" dia. as it starts to enter the NV mount. If you have a larger barrel contour, you may have to go with a MARS or MIRS type rail, but they will not be an option if you have a Surgeon or similar receiver with integral base.

It's a m24 contour bartlein if I remember right, but I don't remember what size it is at that point. And yes I have a surgeon action.

Anyone have a link to these mounts or where I can check em out?

I have a pgwdti rail inside diameter is 1.35". I have a bartlein HV and it still has room.

I have a M24 contour Rock Creek barrel with the MARS rail and it's free floated. I like it, its rock solid but if I did it again I'd probably do a smaller forward mounted rail like the McCann.
