I'm pretty excited to learn more about long range shooting. My sgt at work has been doing it for a long time and is gonna help me out with technique and developing a load.

It's a Remington 700P LTR .308, EGW 20moa base, SWFA rings, Leupold LRT Mk4 6.5-20 TMR Reticle. Trying to figure out who made the DBM so I can order some extras. It is totally unmarked.

Got the rifle locally in a trade and the scope from a Hide member. I have 20 rounds of PRIVI "match" 168 grn ammo I got with the rifle that I'll use to sight in. I found some 155grn bullets in stock and ordered 100 so I'm gonna try to work a load up with the IMR 4064 I already had. Already learned a ton and look forward to learning a lot more.

nice looking rifle, but keep your eye out for more bullets. 100 aint going to last long.

No doubt. I didn't want to commit to a larger quantity till I knew they'd shoot in my gun. And I was dealing with the financial side with manager of funds and recreation....

Nice looking rifle. I'm really liking how the bottom metal looks more and more. I just can't justify to myself the 300 bux just for something that looks cool but won't make groups smaller :p

One day I'll talk myself (and more importantly the wife) into one just because

Nice Rig! As far as the cheek riser is concerned, I got one of these - cheek pad It velcros on and I put a eagle industries stock pack over it. Had perfect cheek weld.

That is a great looking rifle TXLEO. Congratulations and welcome to world of precision riflery. You will find this is just the beginning. But it is a great learning experience. I am still learning myself.

I use a karsten cheek rest on my rig. They are a very nice piece and compliments the stock. Only modification it needed was to soak it in hot water to soften it up so i could form it around the stock better.

He is a great guy to do business with and ships very fast.
