AX Chasis and Atlas Bipod. Any additional hardware needed for mounting?

I have an AX chasis long action and ordered the Atlas Accu Shot BT10/LW17 Bipod. Do I need to order any additional picatinny rails to mount the bipod to the chasis? Not much info out there just pics and its hard to tell.

It should come with two picatinny rail sections and a sling stud rail. (That's what my short action chassis came with, so I suspect the same for the LA). Just move the rail in the proper position and you should be fine.

I'm really happy with the B&T Accupod! You can use it partially folded as a handle hold and you can make really fast follow up shots that way. You can use it as its intended in its locked position but if you use it with a glove in its non locked position it makes it even more flexible and fast. Nice to have options! I remember John McQuay of 8541 Tactical did a video and he showed that he does things the same way I do. Very fast, very effective.

I did not add a monopod on this one. I'll be sticking to a rear bag. Though if I did choose to add one, I'd probably go with the AI part since it is purpose built. I think you would otherwise need to add a rail section to the hook area to run a B&T.

got it. did you do a monopod? I am torn between the AI spring loaded butt spike and one of the atlas flip down models.

On the AX chassis and rifles, the AI version is a much better design. It is concealed inside the read of the chassis when not in use, versus having to bolt a flip down to a bolt on rail.
