Is this temp sensitive? I'm thinking about using it for my .308, along with 4064, 8208. I've read where some of the bench rest records used IMR4895.

Its not usually a negative comment I hear regarding 4895. The negatives I hear usually focus on getting the kernels to flow through your powder measure without bridging.

Probably a billion tons of this stuff was produced to load 30-06 in WWII and it burned well on Tarawa as well as at Bastogne. You should not have issues.

In my 30-06 reloading 4064 outperforms 4895 by a bit.

I read a while back that IMR 4895 had up to a 165fps velocity change in temperatures from 0-125 F. 308 win.

I think the guy that wrote that also sells the powder claimed to have close to 0 temp sensitivity.

Not saying he is not right, it may have that variation but lots of guys swear by IMR 4895 in there Garands and there is seldom any mention of temp sensitivity issues and keep in mind Garand owners are very cautious about high pressure and bending an op rod.

The OP is not likely shooting a Garand and is more concerned with POI shift over temp ranges, I don't hear big complaints about temp sensitivity for 4895, unlike Win 760 and some other ball powders people claim to need magnum primers in order to get it to light off in cold weather.
