So I am replacing the primary 5.56 in my safe. I have a lrp-07 which is why I am thinking the JP as it is the same action.
However I have always wanted a predatar--not sure why, just love everything about the package.

Which would you go with?

Planning on putting a set of buis and a 1-4 on it of some sort.

Uses: HD, light hunting, range fun, classes.

I may part with my scar-16 to fund a kac LPR, Larue predatar, jp gladiator or even a factory built Noveske SPR or HCS mod 1....

Of the two listed the JP gets my vote, but at 3k... the Larue is much more appealing. Win win in my book, now you just need to find one.

I have a pair of SCR11s. One 18" with an SWFA 1-6 for "fun" and a 22" with an SWFA 5-20 for varmints. Love them both, best AR's I've owned. Great build quality, very accurate, and haven't had any failures yet. Recoil impulse is amazingly smooth and minimal, they shoot really soft. Both are running the LMOS carriers and silent captive spring. The 22" has got pretty dusty riding around the ranch on the quad and hasn't given me any issues.

Any reciever slop? Billet receivers have ruined me for mil spec fitting recievers

Both my SCR11s are actually *too* tight for me. My preference for an upper/low fit is zero slop but I still like to be able to push the takedown pins out by hand or relatively easily with the tip of a round if needed. With both my SCR11s if you're out in the field without a small hammer and a delrin punch you're going to have a bitch of a time getting that rear pin out.

Since acquiring the JP's I've picked up one of these to keep in my gear: Olympic AR-15 Takedown Pin Punch Delrin

By hitting the back of that tool with the palm of my hand as hard as I can eventually the rear pin will pop free. Unfortunately the reverse isn't true, I can't get the pin home the last 3/16" or so with just that tool and the palm of my hand. I need a small brass hammer to get the pin all the way back in.

Thanks Gents! SCR it is!

You won't regret the decision, they're great rifles.

After getting some play time in with the SCRs I decided JP needed more of my money this year so I just ordered an LRP-07. I already have a GAP10 for a large frame AR but the smoothness, build quality, and side charger on the SCR11s convinced me I needed an LRP-07 as well. After I get the LRP07 in hand we'll see if I keep both the GAP and JP or sell one of them.

Great rifles and nice people to work with.
