I'm waiting for my stock to get here and I want to put some Marine Tex on the grip and palm swell area. Marine Tex only comes in black....I think....but I'd like it to match the color of my stock which is Tan with Black webbing. Can color be added to the mixture or will this ruin the chemical process? Is Krylon my only option other than having the entire stock just worked over by one of the Gun Gurus here?

Yes you can add color. And it comes in white, look to boating supply stores, like West Marine.

While you can add color, it will be very difficult at best to match what you already have. Your best bet is to do your work with Marine Tex, and repaint the entire stock. BTW, there's nothing wrong with Krylon or any other in the can paint. If you want higher end, then look into C- Cerakote which dosn't require heat to cure. Automotive paints are great also. If you plan to beat it up, they all wear like any painted surface. That's why rattle can paint is just fine.

Color matching would be a real pain. Marin tex is a pain to work with. It's very thick so I would want to work with it as little as possible. I used it and then krylon on a 10/22 Nd it worked very well and only took 2 days from strt to finish.

Me thinks that a good ole' can of Krylon is going to suffice for this project. Thanks for the help guys, it is much appreciated.
