Wow, I know it's obvious with subsonic 300 blackout, vs 2820fps .260, but when you put them side by side, it really shows the difference.

Funny thing is the blackout only loses about 100ftlbs of energy.

 
I figured you would have the hold the rifle at a 45 degree angle to hit a 400yd target with a 300AAC sub. Lol

May I asked why you built a bolt gun to shoot 300AAC subs other than the fact that you can? Seems like a waste of a good action to me. The 300AAC shines in a sbr ar, but I'm sure you already know that.

haha 66 MOA was my adjustment.

It's SO much quieter than a SBR. This is an AAC Micro 7, built on the Remington Seven action.

At the muzzle you might not notice a difference in sound, but I don't have that loud action smacking around. My firing pin is really louder than the report at my ear. I can also load them with lower pressure loads because I don't need to cycle an action.

I love it for popping hogs.
