Fluted bolt and scratched brass? Any good solutions?

After shooting my rifle a bit after getting the fluted bolt back, I noticed that it appears to be scratching the round in the magazine under the bolt as you open and close it. Are there any solutions to easily remedy this? I had the thought of hitting the edges of the flutes with some sand paper to try to smooth them out, but I'm not sure this would work very well. Or is the best thing to do just ignore it and not worry about the brass?

if it bothers you send it off to proprecisionrifles.com or kampfeldcustoms.com they've fluted bolts for me and never had an issue.

If you have access to a lathe spin it at about 500 rpm and polish the bolt body/flutes with some 400 grit sand paper. Be sure to polish cw and ccw. Works great for me.

Regards, Paul

Even if you don't have a lathe you can break the sharp edges off the flutes with sandpaper, patience, common sense, and a little bit of work...
