Night Vision, Laser Range Finders, Thermal, Stabilized Imagers, Binoculars, Goggles, Monoculars, Night Vision Scopes by Newcon Optik
This is the one I've been considering. I'll keep in mind the above review on the 3000, but I need to find others, particularly reviews concerning this particular one. Now this one has a lot more gadgets than the 3000, this one will connect to computers, GPS, etc. I'm wondering if it is made better.
The 12,000m model, the new one, that has all the gadgets and a 3 axis compass and built in GPS. It also claims to be milspec where the 3000 and 4000 are not. But these all go for about $1 per meter regardless of model, so if you wanted the milspec version, which I'm sure is better built, it will run $12,000 or so --and you'll never need that much range for shooting, so way overkill, too costly. Unless you have need for shooting longer ranges for whatever reasons I guess...
I can't believe their customer service was that bad. I mean, they sell refurbished stuff! I'm sure there is a way of getting it done, you just got the run around. It happens to me a lot, I have bad luck in general. Plus if this place is in Quebec or near there, then yeah, French is gonna be their language most likely. But I'm sure somebody there speaks English, hence call back. Don't give up, get your stuff fixed!
Are there any other comparable LRF's that go to 2000m or 3500m or 4000m that have the same perks as the Newcon, only made better, maybe in US?
