Since we advertise our training services here, we wanted to make sure everyone was aware of our current relationship with PayPal. Please read the following announcement that was posted to our Facebook page last night.

We here at Grey Group Training have always put a premium on ensuring our customers convenience as well as security. We feel that we have the best customers in the world and strive to provide excellence in all of your needs. Given today’s ...political climate, we feel the need to draw your attention to a difficult decision that we have had to make recently.

For almost 7 years, we have provided PayPal as a means of payment. They have the same values when it comes to protecting customers in a convenient manner. However, we were recently informed that because we have Magpul PMAGs available to purchase, we are in violation of their terms of service. Actually, the terminology used was “magazines with a capacity of more than ten rounds” and the only magazines we offer are Magpul PMAGs. Their solution to keep from losing our access to this means of payment for our customers was to stop selling PMAGs. For any other business, this might not be a difficult decision. However, we are Grey Group and things are not always black and white.

Our position has always been one in which we do business responsibly. We abide by all Federal and State laws when it comes to any and all firearms accessories and even work with manufacturers to ensure there is clarity for any questionable items. We have offered PMAGs for sale since we opened our doors.

After reviewing their terms of service and finding no explicit agreement that we violated, they have forced us to evaluate whether or not we are going to allow another company to dictate what we are legally allowed to sell to law abiding citizens. This is not just a 2nd Amendment issue, as magazine capacity at its base is something that is a relatively modern concern. This is an issue with an already regulated market and whether or not a company should have the right to dictate what consumers are allowed to purchase legally with their own money. This is something that they have been pushing across the entire tactical industry recently without much pushback. We will not be extorted for our support of our 2nd Amendment rights.

Given the circumstances, we have decided to no longer do any business with PayPal. We understand this will be inconvenient for some of our customers and please know that this decision was not made lightly. We are continuing to evaluate other payment alternatives that still allow for a convenient and secure alternative to credit card purchases and in the meantime, we are more than happy to attempt to assist any of our usual PayPal customers over the phone.

As always, we thank you for your continued patronage and look forward to consistently providing only the best customer service to match the needs of the quality of customers that we have come to love. Regardless of what branch of service, part of law enforcement, or freedom-loving backyard you call home, we will always be here for you!

Knowingly supporting such businesses is no different that the guy who "believes in the second," but supports the AWB because he doesn't want one. Such folks are, IMO more harmful to the cause than a rabid, opposes any gun ownership, member of the Brady campaign. In this day I'm certain it's impossible to NOT use a business that is less than supportive of constitutional rights. But to willingly use a such a business when alternatives are available, well... I've yet to have a seller turn me down when I offered a different method of payment.

I'm showing indifference as they're opinion on the matter isn't my concern nor priority. If labeling me "the enemy" helps you vent, have at it lol.

An attitude of indifference is partially the reason the second is always in peril, but if If that's how you wish to rational the situation, have at it.

Their is no situation to rational. You and others on here get butt hurt because people don't follow your strict boycott rules that apparently all gun owners need to follow or else they're "the enemy within".

Well, the next step is name calling, so let's end it with we each know where we stand.

Because it's convenient

You shoulda just stopped there. Fucking freedom was not convenient. Losing friends in theater was not fucking convenient. My and many other's forefathers bleeding was not convenient. I'm glad you can fore go your values for convenience while adding support to the anti firearms, people control cause

I support the right to free speech and will not boycott an establishment for exercising theirs even if its in contradiction of my own opinion. I do my part by writing legislators/elected officials and voting. Trying to pressure or intimidate a business to conforming to my prerogative isn't what I call freedom.

The fact that you and others are so quick to lash out because someone doesn't agree with you is the complete opposite of the "freedom" you speak of.

If you choose to boycott an establishment or service, by all means that is your choice and not for me to weigh in on, perhaps you should exercise the same restraint.

Good for you and your business, its to bad that gun control is really separating this country, both politically and financially. Good riddance to paypal, they should be boycotted like the bank of America.
