Rifle Scopes Premier reticles availability

Anyone know about the illuminate premier light tactical? Also why there seems to have been a 2-300 dollar price increase?

I saw the price are going up too, and it's out of stock everywhere. Maybe the new company want to make some extra money ( i dont know, just guessing :D)

I'm wondering if they are even making them in the states any more. From what I understand, The company was bought out by Armament Technologies in Canada. I was in interested in the LT last summer but I couldn't get anyone to pick up the phone. Went with a S&B.

I bought a Premier LT 3-15 w/ Gen2 Mil Dot from EuroOptics about 3 months ago. Don't know about current stock of 3-15 or 3-15 LT.

I emailed Armament, and the response I received was that they were almost ready to start pumping them out. They were basically getting tooled up for production.

ETA - that was about 4 weeks ago. You can email them, he got back to me inside of 10 minutes.

Where are they going to manufacture them? State side?

Premeir's production was moved to Canada by ATI. I was looking for a light tactical a number of months ago. I just so frustrated i called ATI to ask if they knew of any dealers that had them. Basically they told the production equipment was moved to Canada and it was going to be a while. I got lucky that primary arms got one in it sat on the shelf for 30 minutes before I bought it. ATI basically said production should be back in full swing by the fall. ATI also said they didn't expect the LT to be as successful as it was so they were really excited about getting production back up. The difference in price in a illuminated LT and a non-illuminated is about 160 bucks. I really like the illumination knob it is a excellent design and it illuminates the reticle at a good light range. Not over whelming and not bright. It has 11 settings with an off setting between each bright setting. I would imagine Premeir will start coming back in stock soon.

Form what I hear S&B/Schott was supplying the lenses for Premier. I wonder if they will still be doing it......?

From what I remember reading, that is very untrue. S&B has nothing to do with the scopes coming out of Premier. I will try to find the thread.

Ok Thanks. I've owned 2 S&B scopes (still own one) and they were excellent. I had heard both ways and I did note some similarities in design and thought Premier was making reticles for S&B.

It was on the Hide here and both S&B and Premier reps commented. Premier used to make the Gen II XR reticle for S&B, but doesn't any longer.
