I just got an "Open Box" Steiner 5-25x56. I mounted and zeroed the scope yesterday morning. Yesterday afternoon, I attempted to set the zero stop but where the two screws go in the elevation turret all I can see is threads. It looks like the screws have come out. Same thing with the two screws on the windage turret. Also, what are you supposed to use to loosen/tighten these scews? Are they "inside" the turret and I just can't see them? The scope adjusts correctly and nothing seems loose. Please Help!

Call Steiner. If your scope is in fact missing screws maybe they'll offer to send some for free.

this level of detail should be inserted into the user manual...
steiner is reworking the manual to make it correct & extra information like this might be useful since the setscrews are recessed into those wells.

Dang it. Yes that would have been good to add. Too late now but it's #1 on the list of manual edits for the next go around. Here's to hoping for a short list. :)

It's great that Steiner is so active on the forum.
Gives me a warm fuzzy feeling about my 5-25, same feeling I get when I use it.
