I curretly have a Sako TRG22 for sale in the New Members For Sale area. Once I sell it, I am considering replacing it with a lesser expensive Savage LE Series 10 FCP-SR. I was wondering if any one had any experience with this rifle and comments both pro's, and con's. Glass is not an issue since I have several favorites in the mid-range. Most likely a Nikon 308 BDC because of the price factor, but good clear glass, and good BDC info. I have owned several sniper savage bolt guns in the past, and sold them at a fair margian upon completion. The 10 FCP-SR, has the basics I am looking for, accutriger, 10 rnd drop mag, picitiny rail, and threaded barrel. Most of the savage bolt guns have been great shooters out of the box, and even better when adding good glass. Just looking for some info. Thanks.

I have a 10fcp-k that shoots awesome. Not the exact same, but like you said, most of these rifles shoot very well. I like my accutrigger after I got used to it, I just wish it would adjust lower.

I have the FCP-SR and it has been a shooter. The feel of the stock is the only thing I don't like, and will more than likely replace it later down the road. It feels kind of cheap and is not well balanced. Most of the weight is toward the barrel end.
