Hello all!

I am new to participating on forums, but have been enjoying them for years, its about time I start to contribute and end the "free ride"!

I am more of a "shooter" than collector but would like to add some variety to my hobby (you know how that goes), and hope to draw on the forum's collective wisdom.

I like to "hunt" but my skills are more attune to "bushcraft, scouting and tracking" than long range precision, so I have come here in hopes to improve (read as "I am getting older and less stealth" so I will be spending more time on the range and less in the field).

Currently I am in the process of finding a short to medium range tack driver (.308 Win) suitable for growing into. It looks like the PGW Coyote 7.62 SWS

PGW DEFENCE TECHNOLOGY INC. - Home

I welcome any and all criticisms and suggestions (caliber, rifle, manufacturer), look forward to the discussions.

She is a beauty! Just got some inside information that the quality may be less than adequate if the rifle is from the production stock as opposed to custom ordered.

I have a call in to a friend who used them in the field (338), but trained on the .308.

Lots of money so I want to be sure I get quality, especially if it leads to a divorce!
