Shileen Trigger
Chet Brown Stock
Hart Stainless steel barrel 1-12 twist
Oberhiem Chamber

I have an IOR 3.5X18 sitting on it.

I think every time I shoot it I get a little better. Right now I can shoot 3/4" to 7/8" moa on a regular basis. On occasion I have shot 1/2" moa.

I have nowhere to shoot more than 100yds around here, I would really like to see what she would do out a little farther. There is a monthly match out a Camp Robinson Arkansas, not really that far from me (2 hours at best) but I would like to practice at 600yds before I go blow 66 rounds making myself look foolish. But I enjoy shooting her none the less.

Cool rifle, but its not an M24. M24 is long-action. It also has irons, a different scope, different trigger, different barrel, and a different stock among many other things. I'd call it a Remington 700, myself. Either way, shoot the crap out of it and get good.

Actually when I bought it, it was not sold to me as a M24. But in looking at pictures of m24's it resembled one to me so I started calling it (her) a M24. I truly didn't mean to mislead anyone. But I do plan on shooting the crap out of her (the gun, not my wife).

This reminds me of the time a buddy of mine called me, "I just picked up an M24 for $300!" I told him "no fucking way!" I show up, and to my disapointment, its a regular old 700 SA. I told him that its not an M24. He said its the same shit. He told me to list the differences, I did. He wasn't happy.

Nice rifle though.

Next time I post pics I will just say heres pics of my 308 that kinda sorta looks vaguely like a M24.

Don't let them get you down! Here is a pic of my f-350 I just got. My buddies try the same crap. "oh but this and that are different!" haters.

Seriously though, I'm just messin with you. It's a nice stick, and wearing the barrel out on the thing will make you better than a lot of guys with some really expensive toys. That is, if you're not already better.

Sorry if you thought I was being negative, I wasn't. I think you have a nice rifle. It's just not really an M24, that's all.

I ain't upset bro, I was just being facetious. I really don't or didn't know the difference. I saw pics of M24's that I thought really looked like the gun I had so I mistakenly thought that must be what I have. I appreciate you telling me different, otherwise I might have gone to a match somewhere and really made an ass of myself. Not that I don't do that daily any way!!
