Im looking for a stable shooting tripod but have no idea whose to buy, Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Im going to mount a hog saddle on the top of it also. Unless someone can suggest anything better.

Knowing a little more about what specifically you want/need in a tripod would go a long way to assist with this discussion.
There are some impressive tripods out there for the money that will work VERY well with the HOG saddle, including the higher-end Manfrotto/Bogen units like the 190XPRO and 055XPRO series tripods if you want a full-size tripod (i.e. - weight and size are secondary concerns to the utmost in stability/durability/etc.). Those will give you everything from being able to ground them and shoot in the prone position, all the way up to kneeling and standing (depending on your height). If you want something more compact and lightweight, there are options like the medium and small tripods and cradles from Danel Jenkins @ Precision Rifle Solutions (see here: Home - PRECISION RIFLE SOLUTIONS, LLC ). The PRS tripods/cradles are VERY nice and ultra-compact/light, including the bigger medium size unit which I generally carry everywhere in my range pack. Danel's cradles don't have the fastening/clamping hardware like the HOG Saddle so if that's something you want/need, then the PRS tripods might not be what you want, but his cradles get the job done very well for me.
Again, knowing more about your particular wants/needs/features/budget would help this discussion along.
I would figure on what weight your system is, the heights mostly to be used. I have a bogen and a benro that I use a centermass gen2 rest

I have a full size .308, it has some weight behind it. And im looking to shoot from kneeling to standing heights.
with my set up im also running a manfrotto compact leveler , it has good panning and canting with adjustable friction

Get an older Heavy Bogen or a heavy copy of . I been night hunting off one for several years now & it has held-up very well . Holds my rifle nice even with me leaning on it also . Even held my Boat Anchor AICS Build with heavy barrel without problem .
I use the Bogen Quick Release plates for the Head with a Pic.Rail leaver Quick Release prefabed/attached to the QD-Plate to & hold my Rifle/gear to it . Rifle stays secure & Stable ( Hands Free ) and ready . With a custom field carry bag to hold it & Pack in field .
( My Opinion ) you can use 'Hog Saddle' on Tr-Pod but would Suck as it's not hand-free & your would have to sit and hold and babysit your rifle when on the Tri-Pod .
PLUS . QD Plate set-up will interchange other gear like Spotter/IR/Bino's/LFR's etc. all on same Tri-Pod platform set-up .
Tri-Pods THEY ARE bitch to pack around & it's just one more thing to carry in the field . Spend the Money-$$ & get one of those new Carbon Fiber Heavy Duty Tri-Pods

Heavy Duty Tri-Pod with proper QD Head set-up on it for your rifle equates to Better Accuracy & better bolt manipulation & other rifle operations with using your support gear . & plus less Fatigue on the Shooter in the long run .

You can spend as much as you want, but Home - PRECISION RIFLE SOLUTIONS, LLC simply works, made by a Marine Sniper\LEO Sniper.
For full sized I've got a couple of these.
190 Carbon Fiber Tripod With Q90 - 3 Section 190CXPRO3 - 190 Series | Manfrotto
Light/packable(lashed to the side of almost any pack)
can handle up to 11#'(I've used 12# rifle w/HOG saddle, 322RC2 zero babysitting required)
Q90 option allows you to get inches to the ground if need be.
If your rifle has a bottom rail section and you go manfrotto, I recommend the LaRue LT666-ADP
I've used it for standing night shots on coyote out to 275 yards without issue
These can be had far below retail at B&H photo etc.....

AHhh.... Saddle has a ( Pressure Crushing ) Screw clamp . & screw clamp on a saddle is versatile . but ( another my opinion ) . It does work but still is step-under with a direct & locked connection using QD-Lever Tri-Pod Head-plate connected to Rifle w/Pic. Rail .
It does not squeeze/crush to hold like a Saddle-Clamp . & one Guarantee that a Pic. Rail QD Lever direct connection ( Tri-Pod to Rifle ) is it will never fall out until you choose to manually release it .

I will second this... We have been using a couple of these for several years...matches and hunting with 14-17 pound rifles...They are great and will withstand a fair amount of abuse...
+3. They are an outstanding deal and work extremely well as do their saddles, especially if you are one who plans to carry your tripod around with you. I also use mine with an Alamo 4 star pic mount for shooting off of. As it stands, I can carry this tripod and use it with my spotting scope, the PRS saddle and or the pic rail and it all has a small footprint and weight.
The SLIK tripods that comes with the PRS saddle are great value for money.
