Gunsmithing Springfield Ultra Compact sight question

I have one of the original Springfield Ultra Compact 1911s that is from the early 1990s, and when I search for low profile sights, I don't really see anything. The sights look like regular dovetailed 1911 sights, but I don't want to buy the wrong sights. I have not been able to find any reliable info, and wanted to see if anyone on here has any experience with one of these?

Call Brownell's and ask a Tech, They are pretty good. I'd GUESS that any officers model sights would fit. Their website is pretty detailed if you know what sights you want.

I would think the same thing, but I sent Springfield an email and they said that they would have to mill the slide to install low profile Novak style sights. I am not sure if they were trying to sell some custom work, or if there was something different on the first run of these pistols.

If the rear is a standard 1911 dovetail your options are next to none. Pics would help. Funny they call Novak's low pro when they are the same height as factory.
