New member from Texas

Been interested in long range shooting for a while, and now that I have my 700 finally set up, I'm ready to learn some tips and hear some advice from you fellows.

I'm in the DFW area myself. Where do you guys do most of your shooting? I have a piece of property I can go out to, but can only go out to 200 yards. I have been out to Tac Pro Shooting Center in Mingus, and shot 500 yards. Does anyone have a local public range they frequent to get their long range shots?

I've been to Tac Pro, nice place. I have several different properties I can go to that are pretty good distances. I haven't measured, but I believe I can touch out to a thousand yards when I become a better marksman.

Yes sir, about an hour away. I go to Abilene quite a bit. I've bought several handguns from the indoor gun range there.
