Precission Firearms 6.5 Grendel arrived today!!

Here she is. I sent them my lower to build the upper to match it. Did a great job. Tight perfect fit upper to lower. Now I need to get some mags and a break or suppressor. Throw some suggestions out there.

Yes. Used them with the Wolf 120gr MPT and Hornady 123gr AMAX along with various reloads, and so far they have worked perfectly. Ditto for the 10rd mags.

Spend the money and buy the PRI 6.8 mags as you can load out to 2.300. Little more expensive but they work well.

For a suppressor go with a screw on can for best accuracy and minimal POI shift. I use a Thunder Beast 30P-1 on most of my rifles including my Precision Firearms built Grendel. Actually its a Les Baer 264 LBC-AR barrel and carrier. Shoots sub .5 MOA with handloads. Precision does build a nice stick.

I would get a YHM titanium 308 Phantom with QD muzzle break so you can swap between guns... I use that setup and have been very happy with it.

Somebody needs to go into production with an AK in 6.5 Grendel that will use standard mil surp 7.62x39 mags. Then I will gladly buy one or more.

I don's see this happening soon.
I'm not sure the demand would be there it seams to me the 6.5 Grendel is more about maximizing power + accuracy in the AR platform, I don't see the Accuracy demand being met with an AK platform and the lack of suitable optic options.

If we are throwing random requests for odd gun spin offs that will most likely never be produced I want a glock in 5.7.... That would be wicked. I love my Glocks. Got a gen 3 g17 and gen 4 g21. Gunna order a 10mm barrel for the 45.

You might want to check to insure that the 45ACP slide will extract the smaller diameter 10mm brass from the 10mm barrel you want to order. I don't know if it will work or not, it may have problematic extraction and ejection.

Good point. A smith was recommending it. I will find out more info. Maybe it comes with a bolt. He just told me to bring him the $ and he would order me what I needed. I never thought to much into it. He said it was a fast swap.

1/8 twist. Shot it the other day with factory wolf 6.5 Grendel ammo. Was breaking it in so I cleaned after every shot, was tedious but I want this gun to be all it can be. I waited a long time and spent some $ on it. Had 4 shots in .5 and one flier to .7 on the fifth shot. Only did one group with it after sight in. Banged steel and let my buddy and girlfriend take some shots off it at the gong. I was impressed. I can't wait to find the nodes with my own hand loads.
