MY vote is on the Kahr CM9 or the Kel tec PF9. both easily disappear when carrying. You will forget they are even there.

Been a Glock 19 guy for awhile. Joined the pocket crowd a few years ago with a Sig P238 - awesome little gun but wanted more firepower. I am pretty buff - and quite handsome, the thin guns carry IWB better for me. I could literally forget about the Sig in a Crossbreed holster. I told myself I would never buy a M&P - I own a Shield now. What a great piece! Don't tell my wife.

I like the G26 in my Galco IWB, very slim/easy holster.

For pocket Carry the Kahr PM40 is my go-to, thin as anything and forget it's there in the pocket holster. Great way to have .40S&W on your person in shorts and/or a tucked in shirt!

My Rohrbaugh R9 Stealth beside my S&W Model 36 J frame. I believe the R9 is the smallest production 9mm on the market. Absolutley a great carry/pocket gun. Quality is outstanding as well as peformance. A bit costly but worth every penny. Also a picture of a size comparison with the PM9.

Im lovin my M&P shield. I imagine the XDS is good too. You wouldn't think there's not much of a difference between it and say the m&p 9c but to me it's a world of difference when you carry it 14 hrs. a day. My days aren't spent in an office chair either. But it boils down to weight vs mag capacity. 8 rds. and .9" width is a good balance for me.

Carried XDm 3.8" for several years, bought a Shield 9mm w/the intention to carry but the XDS .45 came out shortly after & has been my main carry since.
Nothing wrong with any listed or mentioned by others. It boils down to what you shoot best & feel most comfortable w/IMO.

I love my Walther pps, very similar to my glock, very accurate and very high quality.
Everyone who has shot my walther loved it! I had my heart set on a shield until I held the pps.

Kahr CM9, no need for the PM9, just extra money for stuff that doesn't matter on a sub compact. Love mine, been running with it for the last 6 months.

I've tried several but the KelTec PF-9 is the one I chose.
It's light, thin, never fails & you can see the hammer when you squeeze so you know exactly when it will fire. Works great when you need precision. And the come in several colors & come up on sale for $225/shipped. How can you ask for more?

I vote for the Glock 26. But I suspect the OP is bothered by the double stack of Glocks in general.

Be warned. The smaller the pistol, the faster it runs. Which means the more sensitive to outside influences.

Picked up a Sig 938 a while back, great little gun. A little pricey but recoil control is impressive for such a small pistol

+1. I carry the Sig P938 Equinox. With the extended grip its perfect fit for my hand, and i shoot it very well. You are right about recoil management in this pistol being impressive, it is a fun little gun to shoot and i have had great luck with it. I'd recommend it to anyone. Further, im not the biggest guy so its hard for me to really conceal a firearm on my person, but this little pistol is perfect. Really very happy with it, and would go this route all over again if i had it to do again.

I saw the Remington R51 show up on the Academy Sports website (in stores only) so I called... not expecting them for a few more weeks yet...

I'm looking at a CZ 75 compact or CZ RAMI sub compact for a carry... I just cannot seem to take a bite into the poly-wonders just yet. Off to a Gun~n~Knife show tomorrow, hoping that what I want and need is there just waiting for me to find it.

The Shield is accurate, but bigger than the Sig 938, and the Shield trigger sucks. 938 is ALL METAL (except trigger, which you can put on aftermarket stainless trigger). It is a 1911 variant, single action, external hammer. Most would carry it condition 1, locked and loaded. But I love mine. Its also more expensive than the Shield, but I think worth it. I have the Hogue rubber grips. Use the 7 round mag with extended grip.

Been carrying my G26 or G19 for years and want to try something smaller and lighter this spring/summer, so going to give the CM9 a shot. Love all the specs and feel, so we'll see how she does when she gets here. Getting used to the long trigger pull and reset are going to be the hump to get over since I'm so used to super short (and awesome) reset on the Glocks.
