Look's to be a badass movie
Say what you want about Vin Diesel but Riddick is a badass.
To me it looks like they decided to move away from the chronicles of riddick back to towards a sequel to pitch black.
I am in . Riddick or Fast(pick a number) all good.

Yeah, looks interesting. As much as it's fluff and whatshisface, I think the last two films were pretty good. This one looks predictable but good ol escapism. VFX look good. So I'm gonna go see it.
"Keep what you kill". riddick is a great cult movie. I'll watch it for sure.
I agree. Looks like this one may be a formulaic " shoot 'em up" rather than having the great and original (well, as original as ANY movie 100 years into the industry) plot.
Might be a GOOD shoot 'em up, though...
The second movie, chronicles of Riddick, was very, very good.

Watch Pitch Black again before seeing this one. Will make a little more sense. The good thing about Riddick is that we get to see the monsters this time.

100% Agree with this. The only thing I truly disliked is....they need to fire the music composer....there was some happy stuff that just fucking killed the scene.
Yep, Katie Sackhoff gets naked, which already is a plus.

Plot was weak.
Nothing to build tension as the movie progressed.
It leaned real heavily on CGI effects but no decent story line.
Pitch Black is still far and away the best Riddick movie in my opinion.

Yeah, it was so-so.Some good parts but long as hell and really just a rehash of the 1st pitch black story line for the most part. Could have been better IMO.
