In anticipation for ordering my viper skins I saw where on some models of the AI that have the u bolt need some alleviation when the viper skins are installed. What exactly is this U bolt and what models and dates does it pertain to? My AI AE was bought in 2008/2009, does mine have a u bolt? Thanks.

I spoke with him a while back and to go on the new version of skins you need to get the AIAE skins and modify them a bit. You can install the normal skins on there but you're going to have a big open cut out around where the U used to be.

I think I know what you're referring to, the u-bolt cutout on AE skins doesn't work on the new AICS. If you have an AE, and you order AE skins you will be fine. I've used several sets of Viperskins on my AEs and they drop right in.
