Been seeing this new Savage on gun broker, but don't see in on Savage's website. According to some of the GB posts, it was made by Savage for one of its biggest distributors. I have seen several different models, some with 18, 20 and 22" barrels. Some threaded and some with tactical bolt knobs. Every one I have seen is cheaper in price than the Model 10 FP-SR. I do notice that this model as the detach mag and the bolt release on the bottom as well.

Does anyone make an after market stock that would fit one of these rifles? I know that Choate makes one that fits the factory detach mag model, but not sure if it fits the bottom slide release model.

10P (20") and 10P-SR (18" and threaded).

Also 10TR (20" threaded and 24").

10TR are Savage LE models, and a fantastic value at their sub-$500 price point.

All are bottom bolt release DBM, and Manners, McMillan and I think Choate make stocks to suit. Nobody else has caught on yet, hopefully Savage stops changing configurations for a few years and they will.

I sold a few of those at Academy.

We also have one just like it but with a different knob, green stock, and high iron sights for suppressors

XLR also makes a chassis to fit the bottom release. I have a 10 PC that I wanted to fit into a McRees, so I had the receiver machined to fit the side/standard bolt release. It came out great and I'm very happy with it. It'll also do 1/2 moa with FGGM.
