Rifle Scopes ACOG Eye Relief- A2 Stock

Ok so I got a new TA31H ACOG that I am really digging, only thing that I probably dig more than the ACOG is the way that my 18in SPR rifle length gas AR is functioning right with the Rifle Buffer and spring and A2 Stock. I am finding I am having to really reach to get into the right eye relieve with the ACOG and I have it mounted as far back as it will go. I am not a small guy almost 6'1 and 230, but I don't like how I am having to cheat good shooting position. So I was dabbling with the idea of putting a Carbine length stock on to be able to get closer to ACOG, but I don't really want to mess with how well this thing is shooting right now. Anyone ever put a riser rail or anything on an AR for an ACOG to get that extra Eye relief, does any mount get these optics any closer.

I dig this but 5/8" I might now make myself a comb height issue.

Try and modify the mount or go Carbine stock?

I was looking around last night and I found that ARMS makes this mount that has 3 points of adjustable eye relief for mounting build in. I think I will go this route...kinda pricy though, but I wanted to swap out the TA51 mount anyway for something with quick release.
